Our Approach to Sleep Diagnosis and Treatment

The patient care process at Starlight Medical Group follows a series of steps to accurately diagnose and treat people with sleep disorders.

Patients are required to come in for an initial physical examination by one of our medical specialists. Before the physical examination, patients are asked to fill out and return a comprehensive sleep evaluation form. Forms may be mailed or faxed.
After the physical examination, the medical specialist may schedule a diagnostic sleep study, to find out the nature of the problem.
If necessary, a treatment sleep study helps determine which sleep treatments will work best for the patient.

Please note that:

Follow-up visits may be needed to check on the patient's progress.
All visits and services are covered by Medicare and most major insurance plans.
Health care providers can use the new patient referral form to refer their patients. Findings are promptly reported to referring providers.

Sleep Devices and Supplies

If a sleep solution such as a dental appliance or a CPAP machine is required, Starlight Medical Group will work the patient and their insurer to get them the necesary supplies.
